Introduction of Belt Conveyors:
The belt conveyor is a kind of machine that transports materials in a continuous manner depending on friction drives. With a belt conveyor, a material transportation process can be created from the initial feeding point to the final unloading point. The belt conveyor can not only transport the bulk materials, but also transport the finished items. In industrial production, belt conveyors can be used as a link between production machines to form continuous production to achieve continuity and automation of the production links, increasing the productivity and reduce the labor intensity.
Working Principle of Belt Conveyors:
A belt conveyor is composed of the driving unit, a driving pulley, bend pulley, idlers, tensioning unit, belt, frames, protection devices and other components. When the driving device drives the driving pulley to rotate, as the belt is tensioned between the two pulleys under the force of the tensioning device, friction is generated between the driving pulley and the belt is driven to run. The material is fed from the feeding device to the belt conveyor and is discharged when conveyed to the unloading device by the running belt.

Note: The value of the conveying capacity is calculated based on the assumption that the conveyor is routed on a horizontal surface, the dynamic stacking angle is 20°and the trough angle of the idler is 35°.

Features of Belt Conveyors:
(1) We can supply belt conveyers of various constructions, such as grooved belt conveyors, flat belt conveyors, climbing belt conveyors, tilted belt conveyors and turning belt conveyors, etc. The conveyor belt can be equipped with such accessories as pushing plates, side baffles and skirts, etc., which can meet requirements of various technological processes.
(2) We can design flexible and diverse driving units. According to the actual working conditions, the backstop, motorized pulleys, external motorized pulleys or motor reducing motors can be equipped.
(3) The pulley is stable in operation, reliable in quality, and maintenance-free; Full considerations have been given in design regarding the force applying on each point and different structural forms are used to meet the load bearing requirements.
(4) The conveyor belt is made of rubber, canvas, PVC, PU and other materials. In addition to the transportation of ordinary materials, it can also be used to transport materials having special requirements such as oil resistance, corrosion resistance, and anti-static properties.
(5) Vulcanized splicing is used for the joints between belts, which has greatly prolonged the service life of the conveyor belt.
(6) There are various types of tensioning devices, including screw type, carriage type, vertical type, hydraulic tensioning type and hoisting winch type, etc. According to the conditions of the belt conveyor, the tensioning device should be reasonably designed to ensure the service life and ensure the normal running, starting and braking performance of the belt conveyor.
