Rotary Kiln Profile:

Rotary kiln (rotary kiln) is a cylindrical equipment with a certain slope from the end of the kiln to the kiln head direction has a certain slope, so that the material can move forward along the axial direction. The cylinder is driven by the transmission device to rotate and continue to be heated at high temperature, so as to promote the material stirring in the rotary kiln, so that the material is mixed with each other, contact for reaction or roasting.

Rotary kiln is mainly used in building material, metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection, can be calcined cement, active lime, etc., such as nickel, iron, lithium, chromium smelting non-ferrous mineral oxidation roasting and gold, copper, calcination calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, coal oil, coal, coal clean dry distillation, the efficient cleaning quality, oil shale oil extraction, solid waste, waste, sludge disposal and so on.

Rotary kiln equipment is mainly composed of cylinder, supporting roller and tyre, transmission device, pinion and girth gear, kiln head seal and kiln tail seal and other components.

The main motor of the rotary kiln passes through the main reducer to drive the pinion gear meshing with the girth gear to transfer power and drive the rotary kiln body to do rotary motion. The material fed (cylinder of material from the high-end) into the kiln cylinder body, due to the effect of tilting and slow rotation of the cylinder, make material moving along the circumferential and the axial direction, from kiln tail to kiln head (from high to low) to do a compound movement, and then complete decomposition or roasting process, the material by the kiln head cover into the next process equipment.

The fuel is sprayed from the kiln head and burned in the kiln to produce a large amount of heat. The radiation of the flame and convection of the hot air are used to reverse heat and roast the material. Fuel combustion, heat transfer and material movement must be reasonably coordinated, so that the heat generated by fuel combustion can be transmitted to the material in time when the material passes through the rotary kiln, which has reached the purpose of high yield, high quality and low consumption.

Features of Rotary Kiln:

(1) The cylinder adopts automatic welding, and the main welding seam is NDT inspected.

(2) The transition of the cylinder section is eased, and the transition section is set, so that the cylinder not only ensures the section rigidity but also improves the stress state of the supporting position.

(3) take full account of the deflection bearing angle of the cylinder design to prolong the life of refractory bricks and castable materials.

(4) Adopts supporting roller bearings with large diameter and small length to diameter ratio. The bearings are automatic self-aligning bearings to improve the reliability of support.

(5) Adopt hydraulic thrust retaining roller to make the tyre and supporting roller bear more uniform force and have longer service life.

(6) The use of spring laminated flexible seal, double spring seal, increase the heat insulation layer, improve the reliability and service life of equipment.

(7) The inlet and discharge ends of the cylinder are equipped with high-temperature and wear-resistant kiln guard plates to prevent high temperature burning loss.

(8) The kiln guard plate is equipped with a cold air sleeve to protect the kiln guard plate by air cooling, so that the service life of the components is longer.
